Halal Foods Tongkat Ali Extract

Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia jack) is a small tree found in the jungles throughout Malaysia and South-east Asia . It is commonly known as Tongkat Ali in Malaysia and Singapore , Piak or Tung Saw in Thailand , and Pasak Bumi in Indonesia . The tree grows up to 12 meters in height. Traditionally, it is valued for its aphrodisiac properties and treatment of diverse ailments ranging from cuts and wounds, skin infection, fever, malaria, high-blood pressure, to increased energy and stamina.

Natives consider every part of the tree as medicine. To search for scientific information, one has to use the plants scientific, Latin name, Eurycoma Longifolia Jack. There are a good number of articles, published in Western pharmacological journals, which attest to the sexuality-enhancing properties of Tongkat Ali [Pasak Bumi, Eurycoma Longifolia Jack].

How does Tongkat Ali Work?

Tongkat Ali has over 13 medicinal uses. Unlike herbs which simply increase blood flow, Tongkat Ali stimulates the gonadotrophins responsible for physical and mental arousal. This in turn allows for improved physical and mental reaction to arousal. Tongkat Ali also aids in testosterone production. In its wide range of uses, Tongkat Ali is similar to ginseng but it is 4 times more stronger. Tongkat Ali's power to enhance testosterone levels is far greater than that of ginseng too. W hen testosterone levels are elevated, the sex hormones (androgens and estrogens) will signal the body to decrease or stop its own testosterone production. Tongkat Ali will override this process and stimulate the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, to continue producing testosterone at elevated levels. Because the testes are in full testosterone production mode, the penis and testicles will increase in size. Studies now show the application as a potent stand alone aphrodisiac.

What is the difference between Tongkat Ali powder or roots and the term extract which is used in Halal Foods Tongkat Ali Extract?

The active ingredients of Tongkat Ali are soluble in water. Traditionally, in Malaysia it is brewed as a kind of very bitter coffee. The chipped root is best used in this way. To extract the active ingredients, the chipped root or root powder should be cooked about 30 minutes. Our extract is produced from chipped root, not from powder.

Thus, no cellulose makes it into the extract. Our extract is dry crystallized. It comes as a powder that appears similar to an instant coffee powder. Obviously, every user can easily produce his own liquid extract. For this purpose, it is recommended that chipped root is purchased, not root powder. The chipped roots are boiled for about half an hour. The root chips are then discarded, and the water is drunk just as coffee (it doesn't taste as good, though).

Our 1:50 extract is produced by evaporating the water. The remainder initially is a sticky sap. Water is then further extracted, finally yielding the instant powder. The extract powder is water-soluble and can be mixed into a little tepid water, or added to capsule mixtures.

Root powder in capsules, as it is offered in the US , is a gimmick. The root powder is very light, so what would fit into a typical supplement capsule is just some 200 milligram. One would have to swallow 125 capsules to have the effect of one capsule filled with 100 milligram of our 1:50 extract.

Unfortunately, the sale of plain root powder, or root powder in capsules, gives tongkat ali a bad name. Tongkat Ali won't have a therapeutic or pro-sexual effect at that dosage, so people will falsely conclude that this herbal supplement is useless.
